Small Print International 2016/17
This small collagraph was selected for the Small Print International touring exhibition and was inspired by medieval ‘graffiti’ found in local church interiors

Keep it Simple
I’ve been working on these collagraphs for some time now and thought it would be interesting to show their development.
Much proofing has taken place and as a result the poor blocks have undergone much surgery and repair in the process, to such an extent that there isn’t much left of them.
This has been interesting and I’ve learnt a great deal bearing in mind that I’ve made very few collagraphs. ‘Keep it simple’ and ‘less is more’ are my mantra’s for the future.
Doncaster Open Arts 2017 Prizewinner
I had two prints selected for the Open Art exhibition at Doncaster Museum and Art Gallery.
I was awarded the Open Artist prize for my print ‘Tulip Moon’. It is a cut and etched lino print and other than the initial drawing and first colour through the press everything else was improvised. Nothing if not difficult but there we are – I like a challenge.
The second print ‘Quelmar’ was inspired by a boat graveyard in Brittany.
Derby Print Open Exhibition
I’ve had two viscosity inked collagraphs accepted for the Derby Print Open exhibition at Greendoor Print Studio
